Life after k16 billets
Life after k16 billets
So I have a build thread on here https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...let-build.html
and am looking at the next step turbo wise. I would like to stay on a stock block but have a bit more power that runs out all the way to red line. I realise I will need a upgraded fuel system/exhaust ext . My question is what to go to k24/16,k224/20, a28's a30's or an HTA 30r ?
Any input from people with real experience would be appreciated.

I think your going about it wrong...
do injectors, open exhaust, a EBC, ICs, intake to turbos, maybe meth or 100 octane at 1.4 bar with race timing.. and you can run low 6s 60 to 130s.... something that many bigger turbos cant even do on entry level set ups... I just did such a car and it ran 5.87 sec.
My point is: your car can be transformed into that sling shot if you know what to do... even on k16 billets...
good luck

IMO, on a stock block, you should go with A28's as Mike Bailey has. Low 5' 60-130, 200mph at the mile but best of all his car spools VERY QUICKLY!
thats good... then just throw on some 30rs and a more fuel...

HI,Sounds like the same problem I am having with my K24/18gs >> Upgrade or stay the same...I think 3071s are the logical choice..
We should get together and run each other and see how are set-ups stack up..
Now is the tuff part, good luck with an answer..
Mark ,,you like Meth now??
