Belt broke about 4 miles from home in Hollywood Fl. Flatbed sent from Miami beach. Car is lowered so we couldn't get it on the truck without damage to front bumper. Next guy comes from Miami beach also. I insist he put on dollies, he says no need. It's a 2wheel drive. He says trust me, "it's a 2 wheel drive I've been doing this for 10 yrs. I finally convince him it's a all wheel drive. Got car home ok. Tow guys in S fla are nuts.
Now time to replace serpentine. Not sure why it broke. Was replace about 4k miles ago when mods were done.
At least car is home safe.

Some of the biggest asshats I've ever met were tow truck drivers! Lol!

 

When my serpentine belt partially broke it scared me $hitless ... I thought it was something in the inside of the engine that gave out ...

 

Turn each pulley by hand and I would change the idler pulleys too. I the bearing are worn and let the pulley **** it will make the belt rub on the edge of the next pulley. Tow truck drivers are fun...
