Current Market Pricing
I purchased my 02 last year after looking for over 6 months. I agree with the ranges given by others, probably between $37-42k.
I bought my 02 in nearly stock form, had H&R springs, short shifter, carbon steering wheel, etc. No X50 package, no performance upgrades, 48k miles, for $41k.
Car is pristine though, there is not a single dent on it, and only one tiny paint chip on the hood. I think it probably would have sold for higher if the guy had posted it on a forum like this, he only had it listed on craigslist.

Bubble burst for you guys. 03 60K bone stock, immaculate records, 2nd owner. I spent 3 months shopping for the right color. Condition of vehicle (my rating) for private owner : 8.7/10.
27.5K
She was due for brakes and eventually clutch when I flashed her

Was that a trade-in price or a private party sale? And where?
I concur to expect high 30's. The car in my sig is a 2003, 66k at purchase, not flawless condition but very good - it gets compliments on the conditions. I paid high 30's. It came with two sets of wheels. I sold one set with brand new Hankooks on it and bought MPSS's for the other set. Then added sway bars. Otherwise I bought it as my sig lists.
That is definitely not the norm. Bubble remains unburst.

I will say that $35-37k was where most were at between 50K-65K miles. Records on them were pretty crappy however. Lower miles in the 15-35K were in the $43-48K
All of this is market demand based. Porsche prices have fluctuated quite a bit. Trying buying and selling in the C2 arena. Coupe don't get the price like the cabriolet. I found many tiptronics on the market too for both turbo and non-turbo

6 months ago I paid 49k for a bone stock 2004 slate gray TT Cabriolet 6speed with 41k miles. Extremely clean inside and out. Came through PPI with flying colors. No dings, not dents. No curb rash on wheels. Minor paint chips around the front plate.
Downsides were multiple owners and no records.

Mileage trumps mods on these early turbos, except for some of us crazies hanging around on this site who would willingly pay more for the the *right* mods. Meaning, the 70k+ miles will bring the price down pretty hard relative to other 2001 models with lower mileage in the eyes of most buyers.
I don't get the big mileage drop...I guess that's just people buying a Porsche.
If maintained these engines last a long, long, long time. I have 74,000 and still track my car...no issues.
