That unit sounds like BS, I've heard these stories before about the pulsating strobe effect of Police cars synchronized w/ triggering light changes.

Every cop I have seen here in Atherton, Palo Alto and Menlo Park CA just runs right through the red light after slowing down.

I'd need to see a demo to be convinced.
