Rear deck
I have a '01 TT, can someone tell me what is the carpeted "box" on the rear deck that has an oval turbo logo plate on it? Also how is it removed? Was thinking of using the 'space' for dual subs if possible

No,it's a solid box with no openings. I've seen other cars with Bose sub in same place but there are NO speakers in this enclosure, yet if I can get it off or open
