Clutch Slave Failure - Again
So here is something new.
I drove the car hard all over last night and today, and everything is completely dry.
Is it possible for the pressure to build up so much that it will leak fluid but not actually fail? Or is this just wishful thinking?

no and yes. sorry to say.
i would if i were you. i know i would like the non assisted clutch feel/bite.
... and this from a guy with at least 3 failed accumulators in the yard

I replaced mine not long ago with the GT2 setup even though my cylinder and accumulator were new. I figured that since I was replacing the axles and the car was on the rack, I may as well do the swap since I bought the parts after putting in the new cylinder and the conversion was sitting on the shelf. If nothing else, I have piece of mind I won't have another failure. It is worth doing the swap if you have to replace it anyway - you won't have any future failures.
I had a similar experience. teh dealer replaced my slave and accumulator under warranty. About 900 miles later, the clutch was really heavy again one day. Then, even after 4k miles I have yet to experience that again.
I guess make sure it fails 100% before you drop the 2k (but yeah, you'll probably have to drop the 2k at some point as will I )

I realize its likely been some time, but if you changed the slave and accumulator and they failed after 3k driving I'd be taking the parts back to Porsche for a refund. They should never fail after that little driving.
Failure prone part or not, clutch slave cylinders are tested on a machine that pushes then thousands of times to failure to test. If it failed in 3k that's a defect in the part not the failure prone issue were describing.
Make porsche accountable for their parts and don't simply discount the issue to Internet wisdom of a commonly failed part. They don't commonly fail with brand new replacements after 3k. That's a whole other issue...
