All EVOMS GT700's come with bigger fuel lines thats what differentiates them from 640 kit. The fuel pumps/tanks are stock until you go into the GT800 motor build. (EVO Fuel Pump Upgrade: external pump, lines, regulator, etc) If I were you I would data log it and send a few files to EVOMS.
SILVERFOX--Do you by chance have a picture of your upgraded fuel pump handy?

Data logs have been done and sent to evoms Im still waiting for reply....and waiting...and waiting....Im trying not to be impatient but if its all done by vin #s why do i have to wait? Just feelin a bit left out of the loop....
It felt great until I was side by side with other 996, 997 turbos stock i might add and Im not the leader of the pack....not a good feeling ..they walked right by me...this is when i made an appointment to get the vehicle dynoed...and here we are
Very true indeed- maybe i bought your friends car - lol-I have confirmed my parts with a local shop (evoms experts? dunno) the only thing I am lacking is the upgraded fuel lines and pump according to Robert at evoms - I'm new to porsche and evoms parts - so I joined this forum and others and started researching - both ways it's easy to get misled ever build seems different . The evoms parts were installed by autohaus in Arizona and directed by evoms when installing. I just want to drive the car to a local shop confident of evoms parts and diagnostics- all the help on forums is wonderful but I feel I'm reading to much and seeing to many setups which makes it confusing - when I here about your hp I cringe lol. I'm jealous lmao - my car is definitely missing something. - although I still love the way she drives - but just knowing I am almost there to the greater Hp zone - with parts makes me a bit happier-

I believe they are using Alpha Turbos starting on their 650+ kits now.
GT28 vs the Tial GT28 kit is completely different.
Also, my car has 73k on the clock and I plan on throwing on a GT28 variant. It's putting down roughly 580ftlbs to the ground. Don't let the mileage fool you, these things will go, and go, and go, and go, if properly taken care of.

My kit was installed by RPM North and they are no longer in business. All of my service is done through the old owner but I handle any dealings with EVO. Sounds like someone if feeding you a line of BS. If you talk to Todd or Gabe there is no way the car is not on file if it was an evoms kit purely based on the fact that the tune i linked to the vin#. Who did you buy the car from and where were the modifications installed? I'm not naming names but there have been many shops that have claimed to installed evoms kits and they were nothing more than a bunch of parts thrown together. A friend of mine claimed he had a gt700 kit installed by a shop but yet when I had my gt640 kit I ran all over him like he was driving a non turbo. We later found out after bringing his car to a certified shop that the kit was all bogus. I do have the larger fuel rails, injectors, fuel pump and lines. I'm not sure of your driving history but when you drive a car that has 600hp+ to the wheels you know it. My car spins all wheels through the top of third gear! Just because someone puts gt28 or alpha turbos on a car doesn't mean it's an evoms kit. Keep me posted I live in NJ and go into NY everyday. Anything I can do to help let me know. Oh by the way if you don't have the upgraded fuel system than you don't have a gt700 kit because if comes with it.
They know a thing or two about modding these cars
Well this mostly answers your low dyno number question. Mustangs are heartbreakers. Dyno numbers don't mean ****!!! They are a tool. Not designed for bragging rights. There is no standard for horsepower math unfortunately. So x dyno will read quite differently than y dyno. Mustangs read the lowest. Probably the most durable dyno I've ever had.
There are soo many things that could effect your dyno numbers as well. Too many to list.
Best thing to do is make sure you have good fuel and properly serviced engine and go to the track. You don't have to beat your car to death or launch hard if your concerned about hurting something. Run the 1/4 mile and do the math. MPH to E.T. This will give you an exact wheel horsepower number.
I think you will be happy with the result as long as the motors not hurt or you don't have a failing ignition system. Oh and your tune is correct. No boost leaks etc..

in fact called them several times.... still waiting for anwsers on what tune - apparently its in there hidden vault in the basement and everyone is scared to go down there to get hit....on a serious note .....i know there concentrating on new business but lets not forget about the old business that can create more business.....
They are really good at not getting back to you on the phone. Especially when you don't have to buy anything.
I bought my GT2 from Texas and the seller told me he had the Evoms kit. According to the seller it came with Evoms intake, Evoms BOVs, Evoms headers, exhaust with 100 cells, and Evoms tune. I called Evoms because my boost was inconsistent and running on the low side most of the time; 0.6-0.7bar. Once in a while when it ran 1.1-1.2 bar it felt great.
I called them to figure out what was going on. They could not find my Vin number on their files; something about loosing records a few years back. Even though they could not locate my vin on their system, didn't mean I did not have their tune supposedly. There was a lot of phone calls, mainly from me to them and not that much back from them. I played phone tag with them for a long time trying to get the info. At the end they asked me to send in the ECU so they can read it to confirm or take my car into a local Evoms dealer so they can read it. I guess they figure out I wasn't going away.
In the meanwhile I talked to them a few times trying t
o figure out some info on my car and according to them, considering the parts I had, they figured I had their 600 package; he called it the monster 600 or something like that. I ordered a pair of their 1bar waste gates in the thinking that would balance out the boost, and make it steady around 1 bar at least. They seemed more helpful now that I was ordering parts.
I ended up taking it to Stuttgart in Orange County. I must say their mechanic was a very pleasant person to deal with, super nice. I waited for an hour or so for them to read the ecu. When it was done they told me I did not have an Evoms tune but a turbo tune. I asked them if they were sure and they said they confirmed it with Evoms. They offered to install the Evoms tune right there and then; it would only take 15-30 minutes; a bargain at $3000
They also told me while I was there I should have new spark plugs put in. I asked how much and got a quote of $1200 for labor. Gotta love that sales guy. I don't even want to go into my conversation with him trying to figure out why it would cost that much. I don't want to bore you guys with it. His remark at the end was: "What do you expect? You own a GT2". I guess because I own a GT2, I have to get shafted even harder. lol
I said no thanks and left. Called Evoms and asked why all of a sudden I did not have their tune, all while they were telling me I had the Evoms 600 kit. At that point it turned into "we never said that", "we said it might be". I would like to point it out that I talked to a few other tuners and they told me there is no label on tunes, not like Evoms tune, or Champion, etc. tune and there is no way for me to prove it was their tune or not. They could easily deny it was theirs and not much I can do about it without a receipt. The seller did not have the paperwork. The work was performed at Park Place in Texas. They also said the car had Evoms tune in the beginning but later denied it when Evoms said it did not.
Soooo… I hope you have your receipt!! Otherwise they will try and charge you another few thousand for a tune.
