After a ~100 mile Delta River road run, a wash and detail, she's tucked in to rest for a couple days....

Bath time

Houston is one dirty city... Best Car Wash #2 (Thanks Pauliwalnuts for the recommendation) cleaned her up.

Not exactly today but over the last week. The last 3 were from today. I've been a busy shade tree mechanic with major help via text/phone calls from Marski from 911tuning.

How difficult was the meth to install? Looks great! Let's hear the details on this thing?

It was very tedious because you need to run wires, fuel lines and ensure that they are secure and not touching any metal edges. I soldered all the connections so that took additional time.

I have only had the car a few weeks. Mods so far that I've installed in my small garage with Markski's guidance. He replies to my 50+ messages per day, no better customer service period.

Weight reduction- removed jack, tools spare, front carpeted panels, rear seats, rear wiper motor and wiper.
PSS10
997 GT3 SSK
JVC head unit
K24 billets with clipped exhaust wheels-911Tuning
997 coil packs and plugs-911Tuning
BVs-911Tuning
EBWerks exhaust, no cats or resonators
AEM meth kit

Still to do:
Intercoolers-911Tuning
Clutch Masters stage 3
Injectors-911Tuning
911Tuning intake
Drink beer
2wd conversion
Lighter wheels

4080 are you using 24/18 or 24/20 billets?

Whereitsat I'm glad Best Hand car wash worked out for you. I would of loved to help but I think due to location best carwash was the best solution for you.

K24/20.911tuning calls them billet k24/911GT spec II

I'll do a proper write up once I get this thing done. I have twins, boy and girl, due any day now so I'm trying to rush all my mods on the car before they arrive.

Pauli,

Years ago, I worked near your car wash and I would have your guys wash my old G35. I'd like to have a car wash like yours, in a none competing area of course.

Got a little obsessed with finally assembling a detailing arsenal in my garage... so after spending way to much a detailersdomain, girots, amazon, and AMMONYC.... I set off for my first paint correction ever.

Paint on my car was terrible and this puppy looked like she was 11 years old and had seen better days. Did 18 hours all in between the wash, clay, FG400, Nano, and a top coat of Ammo Skin that I let sit overnight to really seal (did the wheels too).

End result is a car that looks easily 5 years younger and for the first time really looks as shiny as it should!
