Hi JP how are you keeping. I dont come on here much now as my cars isnt a Porche. Yes we have been getting Snow for the last week on and off. It builds up then melts away then builds up again .

The Cosworth is being modded at the moment , that picture was a few days ago and the last one I have . It should take 6 to 8 weeks to complete the engine and trans work.
I'm having:
knife edge crank, H section arrow Rods, CP race pistons, Nikasil liners, long studded block, big wing sump, Nickwadpole fully worked head, big cams, solid followers, 8 injector plenum, large TB, Pectel ECU, tubular twin scroll exhaust manifold, Borgwarner twin Scroll 7670 turbo, Tiel external wastegate, spec R inter cooler, race oil pump and piston spray jets, triple fuel pumps and external swirl tank, 20deg s/c gear box, uprated VC, straight through 4 inch hand build ss exhaust.

Should rev to 8.5K rpm and produce about 630 -650 bhp with 36 psi boost on a 4 pot 120ci engine.

Ive already got Gaz coilovers, bushes and AP 386mm 6 pots and 19" rims. It should make for a quick car at 1350kg

Total cost including buying the car with cost of mods added is more than a good low miler 2007 997tt in fact twice the going price of my 2002 996tt. I hope Ive done the right thing. I some times miss my Porka and some times I dont.

when I get the car back with the engine dyno results I will make a wee post on here about it.

Red face

Mine was having a huge change during these months, maybe I should have a journey thread later...

From black turn to Grigio Telesto, GT2 body kit to Techart, Cargraphic rims goes back hollow spoke, and then Sport Technic...

I took this at Alta, Utah a couple of days ago. A fun canyon drive a few minutes from home. It was 13 degrees F and about 8500' at 6:30 pm when I took the pic. My car is Basalt Black with the wing removed, black 911 replaces the Turbo emblem, black Innsbruck wheels.

How does she drive and pull at the altitude and temp? I've never has a car that high, do you notice the thinner air?

I live at 5K feet and drive in the mountains and canyons often. No problem at all. I've taken the car up to 10.5K' over a pass and it runs fine there as well. The car doesn't seem to notice the thin air as much as I do. I hike a lot over 10K and have climbed the high peak pictured in the clouds a few times which is over 11K'.

My baby is in my garage getting a good charge! :-) Now have to find some 93 oct fuel here in town... Or turn the boost down - who wants to do that?
