Adding heated seats

If my car came without heated seats from the factory, could I simply swap in a set of heated factory seats and just add the buttons to the dash to activate them?

Or is there more to this than that (e.g., I'm wondering will the memory seat functions get all confused, how hard would it be to wire up the buttons, etc.)?

Thanks

That's all there is to it? I thought it might be complicated
And I thought replacing my turbos, coil packs, and plugs was going to take me some time. Hopefully friction from thrashing about will warm my bum.

I added heated seets to a cayenne . 500$ for the pair . Just dropped it off at the mod shop. Very common for them to add heat to the seats.

I added heated seats to my Recarros Sportster seats. I have also added them to a few BMW s I have owned in the past. Kits are under $100 (check e-bay).
