This brings up an important issue, that Ive seen with many marques...

Often the retail parts/service is virtually unrelated to their internet presence- local pricing can be standard retail, yet if you call or email, they have great prices.

I've used Sunset a lot, with their westcoast location I get parts in a day or two, ground.

Same thing with BMW parts- getbmwparts dot com is cheap, but walk into the retail store and it is painful.

YMMV

A few more opinions...

Sunset = great prices, no real web interface
Sonnen = porscheoemparts.com = great prices, very good web interface
Suncoast = great customer service, good prices, good web interface.
DC automotive = No discounts but good web interface for looking up oem part numbers.
Pelican Parts = Great customer service, great source for non-oe parts, good but not great prices, but often free shipping.

Surprisingly, I've also found Amazon to be a great source for oem parts like brake pads, plugs, air filters, cabin filter, etc.

i'm repeating myself but,.. the kits like the major/minor maint kit that ecs sells are a lot easier to deal with rather than searching out things we go thru a lot like air filters/pollen filters/plugs individually. at least, it is for me. it's helpful not to have to remember things like washer/o-ring part numbers and they are included if they are needed as part of the maintenance protocol... and no, i don't work there lol
