Car got smacked
Well my 911 has fallen prey to the idiots again. Late last year my bumper and custom plate mount had a meeting with a 93 olds and didnt come out so hot, and this morning a ford decided he really liked my paint and wanted to see how it'd look. Cruising along this morning a ford escape checked me in the side. He said he didn't see me but I don't know how, his front tire left a nice NASCAR style swirl on the passenger door and scraped up the rear fender pretty good. I'm starting to think this car is cursed. I'm going to lose my shirt on this car...
That sucks man, I just recently had to have my front fender replaced because of some idiot work as well.
Fortunately I've got great insurance and I was able to take it to Jim Ellis in Atlanta. The car actually looks better than before. Hope you have a good result.

I have never had a car more than six months before something gets me like a rock tossed from a tire or someone at work hitting me in parking lot and quite a bit of vandelism from jealous people.Hang in there its just the way life is lol.
Also driving my fire engine, people don't notice a big red rig but they do get out if the way when they here the horn blown.
But on a car in Chicago that attracts the cops, so it's hard to play on the street then... LOL.

I've been having a number of issues recently and I'm really considering selling the car. The previous owner added springs only and I've been playing catchup trying to correct his laziness so I stop eating tires like candy. I can't seem to get a good alignment to save my life and now this. It breaks my heart to even think about it because this is one of my dream cars, but it has been a nightmare lately. I've had such big plans with this car. There is such amazing potential and I can't think of any other car in the price range with such potential!
Sorry to hear about your hard time. I recommend you put the time in to find a great Porsche shop to fix your car and make it better than new. A really good shop will make it a good experience for you, because you will enjoy working with them on your "project." If you have a good dealership around you, it will suffice, but there is much higher quality work to be had out there.
It sucks when you really care about your car and no one else on the road does. Most people don't care much about their own car, so why would they give a **** about yours. It seem like me, and everyone I know that gets hit, it's always some turd driving a P.O.S. There are so many of them out there it is almost hopeless. It's the world we line in though.

Wheelman- my condolences- that sucks!
What color is your car? In your pic by your name- looks like Seal Grey.
I used to have an asphalt gray Ford- I got smacked 3-4 times in it- people would pull into it while merging, rear end it-and I always drove with my lights on. inevitably the answer was "duh- didn't see you." never got a blaze orange racing stripe on it- but maybe I shoulda...
I hope you get fixed to your satisfaction and to the detriment of the Ford driver's bank account and future insurance premiums.

Please keep living the dream- I've had my Arctic Grey TT 6 month and am loving it.

). Three days later on my 29th bday some lady rear ended me in a parking lot where she claimed she didn't see my bright A$$ speed yellow turbo. I literally teared up with anger and had to go sit in my car and wait for the cops to show. Thankfully, I took her to the right shop and she looks just as good as she did when I bought her. Well, even better now bc since then I think I've put at least 14 coats of "best of show" wax on her.
. Cheers to former military OCD Porsche enthusiasts!!!
