Best x pipe exhausts

Hi guys,

Needing a bit advice.

Sold my milltek with cats and want a no holds barred x pipe, decat, straight through system.

What's my options and what's the best?

To save everyone from another X-pipe drama thread, I had a miltek exhaust on my previous 996tutbo and I was never impressed. I now have a EBWerks X-pipe with no cats or silencers and it sounds awesome, the best I have heard so far. Everyone that hears my car loves the way it sounds. It's loud but not straight pipe loud. I have not seen any dyno comparisons so I have no clue if the EBwerks is any better than the Miltek regarding HP performance.

Also look at 911tunings X-pipe. You must take inconsideration your HP goals as not every exhaust is designed to support high HP. If you befriend a tuner first, they will help you determine which exhaust is best for you. Listen to the exhaust they suggest and then make your purchase.

Hi, Search is your friend. :)
You will have many opinions and info to digest..
I will be doing a Dyno Comparison hopefully thus week between my 100 cell Milltek and a catless X pipe on my 18g set-up..

Hi Steve,

Here is a video link to our "no holds barred", full 3" X-Pipe - this system sounds fantastic and is a pure joy to experience! It's very light weight and constructed completely with smooth 3" stainless steel piping for maximum flow. The inlets of the bypass pipes are bumped to 3.2" and the flanges are ported after the turbo to eliminate the step after the turbo inherent in most 3" systems and provide for maximum flow. If you are looking for a "no holds barred" catless X-Pipe system, this is my recommendation...

Here it is catted, but we can substitute the cat bypass pipes....

Cat bypass pipes - flow matched to the 996TT turbos at the flange (note the bump in pipe diameter):

And you could choose our slash cut tips (pictured here) vs. our rolled edge tips (pictured above) - OEM or dual tips are an option, but on a full 3" system, they neck it down to less than 3":

FWIW I run the SpeedTech 3" X-flow system with no cats and it is glorious. Great company to work with!
