Checking Power Steering/ Clutch Fluid
that is an excellent question. i have never known the answer but i have filled it many times. an oz or two tops. if you're filling it often? there is a problem. it requires some degree of visual acuity, since the hard as **** to undo cap, once open provides little light and is difficult to gauge its capacity.. and there is no "stick", digital or otherwise.. as such
if you don't see fluid, add a little slowly. if you do see fluid? ... don't.
add: this all presumes you know where the cap is located in the engine compartment.

This shown in the video, right? When I pull the stick out, the fluid shows very little, but aligned with the "cold" line, as it should be. Is this normal? Should i check when hot or cold? What's the procedure?
i misspoke re the dipstick.. i feel like a dipsh*t. sorry. there IS some semblance of a measure on the stick attached to the cap.. but it's a simple hot/cold level. when i do check it, it's usually hot, and you should be able to see some fluid at the lowest point of the reservoir. that's all i look for, and am happy to see it when i do. the only other times you see pentosin will be on your garage floor.
add: be happy that wasn't your car in that vid
