Billet K16 e85 tune

Hi All -

Looking to run this setup if it isn't overly involved, and can't find much via searching.

What would be the requirements to run this setup on a 996TT? Who offers e85 tunes? EPL and Proto?

you will first need to spend $4K on a E85 fuel system... cant run it on oem lines, pump, or injectors....

It is very involved and seems extreme for a K16 setup?

I understand the need for the injectors and pump, but what is wrong with the lines? They seem to support high HP configuration s with regular fuel.

Also I am quite familiar with the qualities and characteristics of e85, as I have ran it for well over 5 years in previous vehicles.

Or maybe trying to squeeze out all out of the K16Billet's, as I was looking into this as well, but because of the inconveinance (not available at pumps) going the meth route.

I firmly believe you will pick up power with E85 even over meth with the k16Billets!! Just using this one example, look at power STOCK turbo'ed GTR's pick up with E85.....some are trapping 137mph!!

With my set up I feel with E85 I would pick up safe power into 1.6 Bars (with 4.5+ intercoolers) with my Billet K16's.

I would suggest to anyone if you have easy excess to E85 as on pump, just do it and don't mess with nothing else!!

Please do it and report back your results.... I and many others would love to see what you pick up with this stock based turbo on E85!

Thanks

Bobby Ali

E85 will set you free. The stock lines will not flow enough. You can do a system for up to 30's for well under 4000$ in parts.
