Guys I need some info, can I replace the 044 bosch fuel pump with the oem fuel pump coz mine is ruined

It's not the same pump. Why wouldn't you replace your 044 pump with a new 044 pump? It's only $150 and should pop right in?

No my oem fuel pump is ruined and I want to replace it

Best to use another OEM pump. Simple fix. 044 pump will not go in that spot...at least very easily. Pull your pump asembly out..you'll see the "Octopus". Do a search here for fuel pumps...

It will go in there. Gotta trim some plastic Cuz 044 is wider.

Exactly...not a "bolt in". You need to mod it to fit..not sure how handy the OP is and if his mods necessitate an 044 pump.

Read the last 8 posts. It CAN be used., but you need to hack up your stock basket. We are not sure if you are willing to do that. If your car is stock or very lightly modded, a stock pump is adequate, and very easy to replace.
Try Suncoast...or Sunset...not sure who else...

You can always add on the 044 in the future if needed..
