ok, need wheel help here...
This was posted on another thread. These are the latest Techarts. They are not the flat black like the originals but more of a gloss/metallic black. TonyNJ's arctic silver turbo has these and they look awesome!!
It might be a seal grey finish on that wheel...but if you look at TonyNJ's wheels in person...they are not that much different. Maybe a little darker...but when I saw them in person...I asked if they were custom painted and he said no. Hopefully he'll read this thread and post a pic.
The seal grey wheels are in fact Doug's wheels. They do look sharp. The great thing about the Techart's is that they are soo easy to clean! Don't get me wrong, I love my HRE 542r's but it takes me just as long to clean my wheels as it does to clean my car. Not cool if you are pressed for time and still want your car to look good.
Either way you can't go wrong. If cleaning isn't an issue, go with the HRE's. I do get many compliments on them....

Greetings from Bermuda guys! I'm here for the weekend for a wedding. I just couldn't keep away!
I vote for the 542s.
JAS,
You'd be surprised at how easy they are to keep clean. Because of the design, you don't have to worry about cleaning the inside of the wheels. And, the rims aren't as polished as HREs so they don't stain.

I think they all look good except for the Cargraphics, I am not a fan of them and I can imagine what a pain to clean.

Doug,
give me your wheels!
Doug,
give me your wheels!
The seal wheel is a one of a kind. I only put it on the car to see what it would "really" look like as I tried to decide if I should do an entire set. Although I love the wheel, I did not do the set, but instead sold the "set" (except for the seal wheel and the red wheel).
TonyNJ wheels are not seal, they are a gloss black (if I recall correctly - and they do look great on his car). Although - TonyNJ was the person that suggested a seal grey Tecahart wheel, and he sure was right that it would (and does) look great!
