I love sport technos on a NB, but they look wrong on a WB. They need a squared off lip, not that slanted lip that has no feeling of depth. With modern WBs (as opposed to old 930s and RSRs) the rear fender swell is too subtle; one of the ways you "display" the sexy hips is by giving the car obviously deep rear wheels, not ones that have been pushed out to the corners with 35mm of spacers. (yes, I know proper fitment calls for 17mm, but that still leaves them well shy of filling the wheelwell.)
The 991 Sport Technos have the type rim I'm talking about, although they're still not visually wide enough for a WB car. |
18x8 J .........et50........... 996.362.136.51 ...........9.4 kg
18x11J ......et63 ........996.362.142.52 .......11.9 kg Lighter that the TT hollow spokes as well. Noga, youre right. They would need spacers I would with a 315 (gt2 size) tire. both on turbo twists or these. would look INSANE on anyones 996 with a drop. |
