Please tell me what part this is....

Sorry guys.. Don't have a picture of it but i'm sure you guys will no what i'm talking about. Went about revamping my car's aftermarket navigation unit with one a bit more modern. When I went to pull stuff apart I came upon something that I wasn't sure about. Its looks like an empty space on the far left side (when your looking at the front of the car standing in front of an open hood). I guess it would be next to the stock amp opposite the brake reservoir. It looks like a small rectangular opening. I'm thinking that its probably where the cd changer or some storage would be. I found that the previous owner had upgraded to some focal speakers and the crossover units were sitting there but now its an empty space... Thanks.

On my car that space was where the stock CD changer was mounted.

I assume you're talking about the grey box in the picture between he vented amp area and the fuel pump/tank cover?

Later, Steve

I was actually talking about the space where the amp is located.. Didn't know it was where the amp is placed. Unfortunately, there is no more grill. Got to look to buy that cover..
