Remap with Exhaust ?
As you may have seen, I have been asking lots of questions regarding exhausts for my stock 996 Turbo.
I am not looking to do any further mods other than the exhaust as I prefer to keep my car as stock as possible.
I believe the right thing to do is to also get a mild remap on the car to adjust its operating parameters so as to integrate the exhaust given it is likely to have high flow cats.
Is this the right thing to do ?
If it is, would a standard Stage 1 map be OK or should I look to get a customised Stage 2 map ?

HI,,Any way you look at it,,an exhaust will help you now and down the road with a map..
Are you talking about a tuner that sells his own and makes his own exhasuts OR a manufacturer that sells a tuners map OR a exhaust seller that makes his own tune and/or has a tune with no origin of were it came from??

I am talking about a Tuner that fits a third party exhaust and uses a map such as protomotive and tweaks it Vs an exhaust manufacturer that also supplies their own map for their exhausts
Buy the exhaust. Take your car to a shop with a dyno who tunes Porsche and have your car tuned for your gas, altitude and climate specifically for your mods.
I just don't like the whole flash and go tunes from California built for ****ty 91 octane gas. That's just me I guess.
