I did the math. The 044s are good for about 800 whp (900 crank) on e85
We're gonna run 1.6 bar max until we get the 3rd pump. And we're gonna set the safeguards on the ProEfi. It will cut the power at a given value relative to fuel pressure, engine temp, afr etc... kicker is being able to sustain high pressure AND high flow for a period of time to a large injector. the sooner the high boost comes on the longer you have to sustain high pressure. here is a curve ball for your math. when you add multiple fuel pumps with a Y after them. its not a simple x2 in flow ratings. i did not know that. |

talked to randy last nite. he was pedaling his schwinn bicycle to atlanta doing wheelies all the way! in interests of weight reduction he did however convert it to a girls bike by removing the cross bar and adding a card in the spokes for better crossflow sound and the tassles on the handlebars were braided for better aerodynamics hilarious
Jamming out to Kelly Clarkson! I love her. Her music makes me me want to ovulate:rolleyes: |

hah! seen that. crazy, man crazy :)
all kiddin aside.. the car is gonna be a freakin rocket. Decided on the 3073s. That's a Tial alpha 3071 w/ a 73 wheel. Spool will be quicker then a 3076 and it will still make 800 + wheel horsepower. I have a nice suspension setup with coil overs so the car is much more then a straight line dragster. I did the math last night and I think the car weighs less than 3015 lbs:eek: It should have the performance of the 1980s Kremer 935. It weighs a little more than the Kremer but it has a few more horses to offset the weight difference. It should be track friendly but at this level, it may be beyond my current skill level lol. It |

i know you're building *primarily* for straightline accel? but up here. that would literally be too much car  i'm reminded that from watching utubevids last night of the "singer" porsches theyre making out here. fkn amazing. have you seen em? 8200 revving 350hp a/c 3.8 cars ( drool.. )..kinda modeled after the 70s rsr's..but with some 993 bits for good measure. ya gotta check em out The Singer 911: All You Ever Wanted to Know - /CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS - YouTube

What a great recreation! The Singer was a great car, as were the Martini and Kremers. Th factory '74RSR was the ultimate 911 in my opinion. And I live in Bama not Georgia:rolleyes: This is a 3.8 with an engine management system. I can turn the boost waaay down in 1st,2nd and 3rd. Not to mention it has 997 GT2 gears. This is a wonderful setup for road course and drag strip. Best of both worlds:D |
