Exclamation Floridians Going to Tail of the Dragon Meet

Hey guys, since no one else has really organized this yet, I guess I will start it.... I know it is early, but I have to get a room booked up in Jax. before it fills up....
What is the plan?? Are the South and Central people going to meet up in Jacksonville and go from there?? My plan right now is to head up to Jacksonville and stay the night there on Thursday. Then head out in the morning with whoever is meeting up in Jacksonville...I don't know if everyone's route takes them to Jacksonville, but it would be cool for ALL the Floridians to convoy up the N.C. together.
Any Jax. people, I could really use some advice on a nice hotel (or motel) to stay at Thur. night. I need a decent hotel or motel, that is not very expensive, but it has to be in a good area where I can leave the Turbo overnight...
Thanks,
Evan

Evan,
It is early but I have no doubt that we in the central area will make are way through the Jax area. So, if you want to make any plans with this in mind, you'll be safe
A few of us caravaned today to the Grand Am at the speedway in Daytona today. It was fun and I'm spent! ( Last nights halloween party didnt help )

Evan,

I would agree it is a little early. I will most likely meet up with Rob and make the drive. We can all hookup in Jax..

Rob,

I think the halloween part was fine... it was the booze you were not going to drink that you did, that has you spent!!!

Of course I forgot the Camera when we were looking at the McLaren F1. and the rest of the cars being worked on.

Here is Rob's wheels (RDH)

Here is his car

Jim's Boxster S (Hot car with all alum accents inside, 19 " with 295's in the rear and a turbo nose going on this week.

Good time had by all... Thanks Rob for the invite....

Now I know if I was single what I would be doing... My nickname would be Speed Racer...

Great Pictures Gary...........

We will definitely have a great time in NC! After considering your astute observation with regards to the possible link bettween the alcohol I consumed the night before and the mysterious pain I was suffering in my head and elsewhere Saturday, I think in fact there could be a conection.......

Caution!!......................

In the Florida Drivers Education Manual It clearly states one should Use the "Caution" signal to alert those around that you intend to turn (at least a good 2 car lenghts) I for one never intend to break any of our fine states motor vehicle laws.

Ok, the truth is I checked with Techart and they wanted $1000.00
for the clear ones

Any way we can get the old people on the road in Florida to use their turn signals at all...

Call Suncoast... they have them cheap.. Or I can get them for you for $500.... I will even install them...
