C4S lip on aftermarket GT2 front bumper

I purchased my '02 with an aftermarket fiberglass front GT2 bumper on it. It came with a fiberglass lower lip that was bolted to the bumper (no U-clips). I ordered a C4S lip to replace the fiberglass lip, as it's too low and was getting dinged up.

After lots of searching around I have a couple questions. Do most of the aftermarket GT2 bumpers use U-clips to hold their lower lips in place? Or are they mounted more securely with bolts into the fiberglass?

My bumper doesn't have a divot in the front for the tow hook either. It's totally possible that was filled before painting - but figured maybe that would help identify my bumper.

I'm fine with using expanding nuts to secure the new lip, just want to see what and how others are doing it.

highly unlikely it was filled before painting, most reps do not have the tow hook hole

I thought the shape of the bottom of the GT2 front bumper is different than the bottom of the base turbo bumper. If this it true, the C4S lip will more than likely not fit.

Good luck,
Steve

From what I've read, the two are compatible. My main question is how folks with fiberglass replica bumpers are attaching their lips?
