AP is junk. Do yourself a favor and do some research. I had 997.2 intercoolers and used my 996 silicone hoses with NO problems or popouts. I upgraded to EVO intercoolers since. You might as well stay stock if your going the AP route... even the aluminum connectors on the AP silicone hoses fit like **** if you find yourself getting talked into those.

good luck

Already had the intercoolers, as I purchased them a couple months ago.

Picked them up for a great price, which is why i have them. WOuld've ran the 997.2 if they hadn't raised the pricing

I actually did do research, and didn;t find much about the APs. Only everyone stating to do the 997.2 intercoolers.

Is there any empirical data out there besides visual inspection of fins to back up what you state? Not being combative, but just inquisitive, as I'd love to see it to form an opinion.

Also, make sure your turbos are clocked to allow the mounting bolt to attach to the hangar. If they check valve is in the way, the bolt wont go through. Mock it up several times with the manifold before attaching.

For the coolant line. Remove and replace the coolant expansion reservoir, makes the job a whole ton easier. And if its yellow, replace it now while you're doing all the work.

Good time to replace the serpentine belt, too.

The instructions for the alphas are pretty straight forward. It will tell you how to install the check valves on the turbos (you have to take apart your factory check valves and swap the internals over to the alpha check valve housings), etc.

I'll pm my number so you can call/txt if you run into issues.
You have PM.
