Hi Guys

I have come across these headers and wanted to know your thoughts on them....??

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...item5af3ce91fe

Have any of you guys used them with success??

Seems pretty decently priced?

Thanks!

headers like this work but you dont know how long before it crack (depends on driving style and poweroutput) Maybe it last long, if you dont heat them up to much

primary tubes have a little to much diameter....

i am use one with double push-piece design, so it doesnt crack

They're cheap Chinese made headers. Header upgrades arn't justifiable unless youre 700hp+. For that money, (the price of those cheapies) you can port your OEM headers and get more out of them. Thats the route a LOT of people go. The stock headers are actually pretty good.

Where would one go to get the stock units ported? Is the goal to dremel them out to make more air flow or to polish them for smoother flow?

I ported my stock ones but be careful Don't take too much material off otherwise the integrity is compromised and prone to cracking.

Peoples are not going to like what I am about to say. I am defiantly in the minority. I have had these headers for four years now with zero problems.

They sound awesome with a 3" catless exhaust and Alpha 28s

Now that's interesting Turbotodd....! Thanks for your feedback....If they've lasted 4 years then they're ok in my book...

Guess I might just chance it hey...especially at that price?

Anybody else with hands on experience with these headers?

Really? They have no signs of significant wear? You get a sound change? What does it sound like?

I'd be skeptical of any gains, but at the same time, you're probably making more heat than most people, so... Hm

Yep still going strong with no cracks or leaks whatsoever.

And the price was right. When I purchased these it was when they just started on that auction site. They were at $0.99 starting and no reserve.
No one bid on them so I purchase two pair at $0.99 each.
Yes ninety nine cents a pair.
