Piston ring compressor

Hi, I'm in the middle of rebuilding my 996tt engine and having some difficulty installing the middle pistons 2 and 5. As the are attached to the rods and then the cylinder liner is pressed on a traditional piston ring compressor doesn't work well in this case. Porsche has a tool #9659 that slips onto the rings but I can seem to find it. Was wondering if anyone knows of a work around or could suggest a suitable tool.
Thanks,

Get a K D ring pliers you may have to buy a set and then you can see how they shape the ring compressor you may need to modify or build your own make it the diameter of the piston and only 3/4 inch wide
