PARTS-Backorders-disgusted!
With the massive undertaking in Stuttgart respecting new model releases in the next few years; WHY can't this once proud company get their parts distribution AND pricing organized!
We have four late model cars awaiting parts that are still to be supplied to Porsche in Europe!. THEY have become incapable of parts stocking here in the States. And the price rise!!!whew
My clients, naturally, want their weekend sex toys ready ASAP. Porsche parts employees in Stuttgart and here have obviously never had sex with their cars! or else we'd have an abundance of beautiful toys to "play" with! SEX TOYS AND PORSCHE PARTS-hmm, which "comes" first?mmmmAAAAAAArrrrrrrKKKKKK-formulamotorsports.com

Parts-the "real" story
Hmm, Gentlemen, I believe that my position in the business of Porsche Service may be quite different than yours. We order quite an array of different parts on a daily basis and as such we don't deal in "performance" items on an exclusive basis. I can get all the exhaust, carbon fiber, wheel items on regular delivery. However, you may have missed my point. It's that twenty dollar "widget" to finalize the completion of of a major collision job that is on natl backorder and simply not available that plagues myself as well as my peer group, that pisses me off.
Thankfully, I have the machine/fabrication tools to replicate some of these items (much higher expense to me) just to finalize the job.
As one who is "in the trenches" everyday, PNA is getting more difficult to obtain all parts necessary to service cars daily.
We source worldwide (when necessary). Some of these parts just are not ordered from sub-contractors in a timely fashion.
They have also strangled the aftermarket by demanding these same sub-contractors sell parts exclusively to them for a VERY long interval. The worse part is the price of many items....they are GOUGING us...YOU...yet there is no sense of this in any articles in any P magazines!...Really...996 turbo front spoiler lip $350 dollars! It is an extreme disservice to all of us....yet! NO ONE says BOO!...anyway...I guess it gets to me every now and then. OK...I've vented...back to finding a convertible top cable for a 993 that is on "backorder".
