The PSI car was nice but not to my taste( was a turbo with gt2 look)

We did 181.9mph in the r turbo and the PSI car did 179 over the same distance. .(for comparison my ctr did 190mph over this distance!)

Then the distance was increased to 1.5miles and the PSI car did an impressive 184 We sadly left before this happened. But at bruntingthorpe 2 weeks earlier over the same distance in we did 187 but of course different place and time is not wholly comparable imho.

Oh and my friends RGT2 did 194mph and a dodge viper did 215mph...

all the best

Considering the GT2 bodywork and wing I presume, I would say that the PSI car was as fast as yours if not slightly more? At these speeds aerodynamics come into play big time, even a 50hp difference can be easily offset.

Have you guys done any timed acceleration runs at all? 20-100 or similar? Do you have any 60-130mph for your car.
Thanks for your reply.

wow psi car did very well against the ruf car, wonder if he had stock wing and front end if it would have made a difference, i have the same package 550 and a gt2 nose and stock wing.
maybe i will do some timed accel. now i will have to do some testing of my own...

Yes I was wholly impressed by the PSI car, however dont forget that the R turbo has a big rear wing also, and our front is very similar to a GT2 front.

So aerodynamically they would be the same imho.

all the best

I drove the R Turbo 550 today. Very impressive although I couldn't test it 100% due to traffic and other circumstances (new brakes).
Felt much like the RUF demo car (590+) except the number didn't fly by as fast

The 996 Turbo has a standard drag coefficient of 0.31 while the GT2 has a coefficient of 0.34 - BUT - with its rear wing raised at over 75 mph the Turbo also has a drag coefficient of 0.34.
