Value of k24/26 turbos

Anyone have any idea what I could sell mine for?

I am debating whether to send these in for a 20g upgrade or sell these and find another set of k24 s to send in for an upgrade.

K24's are worth $1200-1400. I just sold a pair for $1250 shipped. Upgrade to 20g is about $1400-$1500. So ur talking $2800 plus WG. I personally would rationalize the k24 is worth $1300 and the 26 upgrade is worth at most half the 20g upgrade particularly if used. I'd probably expect $2000 is reasonable plus any added value from wastegates, maybe another $100 value.

If you sell for $2000 you still have to spend the $2800 for the k24 and upgrade so the whole thing cost you $800 plus new WG versus if you send in your K24/26 it cost ya $1400-$1500 but you get to keep any WG upgrade you have.

I think you only save $2-300 by selling first and then you run into to problem of finding K24 at rock bottom (in good shape) plus shipping back and forth. I think the headache value and nickel and dime of shipping and such I'd just send what you got.

I have seen a few sets of K24s that sold for Between $1000 and $1300 lately.
I really don't think the K24/26 is that popular here in the US,, plus most tuners don't tune for those here?

You know that most likely that you will have more lag and do you have the supporting mods to make the 20g work?..

Do you have any more details on your K24/26s? There are several compressor wheels in that family that will outflow an 18g and come pretty close to a 20g. Might be worth pulling the compressor housing on one to measure and see what you have.

Anyone know how to tell the 20g from the K24's on the outside?
