Sharky's Black Mamba is coming home.... who wants to race?
I am missing my tippy so much but then again if you happen to see a seal grey one that LOOKS bone stock- beware. This one here has got an EVO GT640 kit with red hoses (only thing you can see) the intake system and that Europipe Exhaust (which I never grow tired of seeing!). It's so lethal on the street that it's quite possibly the fastest tip I've driven (mine doesn't count because it's......). Anyone that says a tip is for girls is right.
I drove it yesterday and I have to say it spools up so fricckin' quickly. The tires are pretty useless in 1st and 2nd lol..

So Mike told me a nice story today about a "test" conducted against a 10.2 second car... Let's just say the outcome was in favor of the black mamba!!!

Note that this is my understanding after reviewing the NHRA documentation. The 2005 NHRA ET quick reference chart below gives you pointers to the relevant area of the general regulations. The PDFs for this and other good information is available on the NHRA site.

+ 7.50 to 9.99
+ 10.00 to 10.99
+ 11.00 to 11.49

I'll pick out the rules applicable to cars 10.00 and slower.
1.3 Exhaust: All street stock must be equipped with functioning mufflers and may be required to meet maximum decibel levels at certain facilities.
1.12 Supercharger: Screw type supercharger prohibited.
1.15 Vent Tubes, Breathers: Tubes must terminate into a permanently attached catch tank with min capacity of 1 gallon. NHRA may introduce mandatory breather systems on all nitrous injected and/or boosted engines.
2.4 Driveline: All RWD 13.99 or quicker with slicks and 11.49 or quicker with street tyres must have a tailshaft loop.
2.5 Flywheel: Stock cast type flywheels prohibited for cars running 11.49 or quicker. Must use SFI Spec 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4.
2.10 Flywheel shield: 11.99 or quicker require a flywheel sheild SFI 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 or 9.1.
2.14 Automatic transmission: Quicker than 10.99 or faster than 135 MPH require tranmission shield meeting SFI spec 4.1
4.8 Parachutes: Mandatory for cars 150 MPH or faster.

Just drove her off the trailer... 3 other cars there two of whiche were what I thought to be old ****-box Ferraris... Turns out one was worth 2.5 million and the other a cheaper 1.5million (creamcicle). Too tired to drive tonight but I did poke at the replay on the boost gauge which showed a good 28PSI
