More info needed. From a roll? dig? STOCK K24? Looks like you were going 60-70mph on the fly by.

mod mike Sep 11, 2013 12:58 PM

40 mph roll, stock k24, from the flyby, well over 100mhp

The video is a little grainy

Your Mexico is much prettier than our Mexico.

stock ZR1 are fast and trap 130+ mph 1/4 ! hard to believe you could kick his ass so easily with stock k24 ! nice kill ;-)

What transformed the car was the MAF less, the y-pipe, big IC's, and the fender filters . It's so quick at 1.2 bar!
I didn't even want to race. Glad I did!:)

awesome! so what's the big advantage running MAF less?

I'm not a scientist, but the amount of air flow is no longer restricted by the MAF. More air moved.

It's also as smooth as a Honda on the street taking off at lights.

Yeah, but they have ****ty gas. And only criminals have guns.

Get some better turbos (18 or 20g...or Tials) and some good gas and you will have a fast car.

Haha. So true.

Awesome. Got any pics of the MAF-less setup? Would like to see the fender filters/. Must be nice having all that space cleared up in the engine bay - no more airbox. Did you retain the conventional DV setup?

Are the filters more vulnerable in their new location? Any worries driving in the rain with this setup?

x2! I'd like to see more pictures of fender well intakes and the mafless piping. I know there are a couple products out there, but I'm just surprised not to see more pictures around.

Great run btw, love to see more videos as well!

There's nothing in the engine compartment now. Looks clean, and super easy to work on the top of the car!

MAFless is in the tune

I have tail blow off values now

I have seen pictures online of the tubing from the air box to the turbos, but until you hold it in your hand its not justified!!! Take a garden hose with water at full blast and crimp it; this is the comparison I can come up with.behind the engine that tubing is VERY restricted!!!!
I'd have to pull the back tires off to show anyone, just visualize the air box attached to the turbos
With s few inches of big hose!

Like I wrote earlier, the whole combination is what completed this. For those that think the Y-pipe doesn't do much, they first would have to do other steps to put it together. I stock piled my parts and planed on doing all this this winter. The f----- up coolant failure forced me to do it over the summer.

I bought a cable to logg some pulls, but didn't know I need a PC to do so. I have a Mac. In my previous treads I wrote that I spool up around 2500 RPMS now with this set up
It's very true. So once I buy a PC I will do some logs to verify my new set up :)

My finger hurts, I'm on my phone lol

WOW,,quick spool alright..Catless?
