new to forum, 996 tt tip 1/4 mile times, need help!

Hello I just bought my 4th 911, I have had 3 air cooled cars over the years and just bought my 1st water cooled 02 996 TT tiptronic, this is my 1st tip as well. I have been drag racing lately and want to get my car to 10.9 my last run was 12.6 at 116 mph. My new car has supposably been flashed (0.9 bar)and has a new fabspeed exhaust. Can someone please tell me the upgrades I need while keeping my daily driving ability while staying on a budget? My head is spinning with all the tuning info out there. Also how can you tell if you have k16 or k24 turbos? Thanks!!!

You have K16's with a .9 bar flash

Here is a street tire AWD 10.9s at 132mph run in my tip 4 years ago. This IMO is about as far as you want to go in a tip to keep things totally reliable and a 10 sec street car.

Mods at the time:
k16/16g turbos
Miltek Exhaust
DV's
1.3bar Tune
Pump Gas
Pss10's

Thanks for the advice, awesome pass! At this point if I'm hitting high 10's low 11's ill be happy (for a while anyway) what is your opinion on a torque converter? Were you doing any power braking at the line? I was told that is not advised with the tip trans?

I later changed my Torque Converter to allow a 3200rpm launch and that helped. Eventually the tranny gave out, they always do.
