I was on 1250whp and starting in 3rd gear (not in boost) vs the Porsche starting in 3rd brake boosting. Both on race gas. The two runs with just me and the Porsche at the end, the first pull BHT takes the hit and pulls good.

The 2nd run that was just me v BHT (@1:15, last one on the video) was 60-192mph 3rd gear and I won that one. The last seconds where he passes me is where I had let off.

I think the cars are evenly matched with a 3rd gear start and the Porsche brake boosting, he hits 4th and just moves HARD. The Porsche is a great car and BHT is a great guy, we had a lot of fun. The runs 3 wide with the vette in the beginning, nobody honked. Just waited for the Porsche to launch and then tried to catch.

My car hits very hard out of 50 or 60 in 2nd gear. Last week we ran me on 93 octane vs the Porsche on race gas with me starting out of 2d gear and Porsche brake boosting out of 3rd. Even brake boosting, my car pulls ahead till he hits 4th. Here's a short clip of just my 2d gear 93 octane hit vs Porsche 3rd:


To put the gear difference it in perspective, here's me doing a 2d gear start vs Cdubb starting in 3rd. Both of us on 93 octane:



Next time I'll run kill out of 2d and we'll see if that changes how close we are when the Porsche hits 4th.

I dont know of any Underground R versions (1500 whp) in Tulsa. What is the guys name that says he makes 1500 whp? And he was warned not to race someone?

Todd did run a stage 3 coupe at TI...I don't have a vid of it (I'm sure it's out there somewhere) but the outcome was much different than these races. Then again I don't know if Todd is making more power now...

funny u mentioned that. i happened to hear the same thing. kinda like when they made their YouTube video from last TI and there is not a single video of Eddie mopping up just about every car they brought. its also funny that some will jump in and say hey you only raced a stage one or a stage 2 but not "stage 3598767" and if you did that out come would be different. it does look like you steal the hit from him but a street race is almost never fair and they know that, watching their videos they almost always take the hit.
