Well after 3 qualifying runs of 144, 180, 212 mph we ran 206 today with top GPS speed of 215 on the Motec GPS log before 3/4 mark. Car was spinning tire most way up and started sliding up top so Tim let off and coasted to 206 safely.

BBi hurt their trans yesterday after 210mph and Tim and Betim put Tims gearbox in the BBi car after Tims pass this morning. BBi went 221mph with a lot more left on the table for both cars, licensing killed first 2 days.

Yep he went right after Tim. I was still right at the starting line and saw it take off. Straight as an arrow and insanely fast.

Hey Guys.. Licensing took up 2 days. I had at it this morning. the car was having problems getting traction. the 305 35 18 r888 where not up to the task at hand. the strip is less then ideal for this and makes the ford GT's speed so much more impressive! (Shane T did quite some job tuning at getting the traction control to work.) I was looking out the passengers side of my windshield at 215 mph at the 3/4 mark and it was not coming back! I backed off and the car snapped over to the other side and I trapped 206.x. My day was over after that run. funny thing is at 10 psi of boost and and using 60% throttle I did a 212 pass to license up to unlimited. King Kong is quite some build! Betim and his team are some really great guys! My hats off to them on their build.
