Tony will have a tweak file for me tomorrow also at full boost 1.1bars to 1.2 bars sometimes i ran a 0.78 to 0.80 afr on durametric and everything went great no timing pull or leaning.

Looks like your turbos are taking forever to spool. I have stock k24's and I see full boost (1.1 bar) @ 4200-4500 rpm...

Your right looks like Sean found a bad wastegate also there all rusty and there tighten too 19mm new AMS wastegates just arrived and being put on now. You do know i didn't floor it until 4k RPM right???

Tony i will make sure to dial them back and do some wot runs. I just have to say EPL really knows what there doing these couple of issues are from the car being a little older and hoses and pipes are just older.

Are you going WOT in the video before 4k?

Hopefully not before you did a boost leak test that finally holds all the pressure. Starting WOT runs with new WGs and knowing you have a leak is not the smartest idea one could have.

The last leak is getting fixed the leak is not in the boost system the other leak was. This last leak is in the back where the intake charge pipe is on the turbo.

I am very glad to hear you say this, as is Tony, I am sure. A lot of customers (not necessarily you) seem to think that they know their car better than the tuner and don't do what they are told, thus making it more difficult to troubleshoot. This goes for all customers and all tuners, not just EPL. I have witnessed phone conversations that are clearly an angry customer adamant that the new tune caused XYZ problem, when in fact it is something totally unrelated. People have to understand that when you introduce an additional 80-100hp to a 10-12 year old car, this will undoubtedly reveal all the shortcomings of said car. If your heated mirrors don't work after you flash your car, don't call your tuner whining....the tune isn't your problem, it was just time for your mirrors to sh*t the bed.
I am glad you finally got it sorted...now go have fun...

Just out of curiosity I ran my car up in 5th and my RUF K24 hybrids are at 1.2 bar at 3900 rpm. At 3000 they were at 0.5 and at 3500 0.8 bar. I would imagine K16 hybrids should be at full boost around 3500 rpm or so.

Why would EPL sell you new turbos with rusty old wastegates or have you reuse your old ones? You would think that vendors selling upgraded turbo packages would include wastegates properly matched to the turbos/flash for correct / optimum performance. Doesn't make much sense. Kind of like buying a new suspension package that comes with worn out shocks...

Gotcha. Seems like it would have make more sense to just have them write you an interim file with reduced boost levels. What do I know though.. lol..

Cool that the hybrids spool faster than the regular k24s. :)

I'm doing gt2871r(s) with meth soon. Hoping to make around 700 crank, and have peak boost at 3500ish!
