Made The Move To K16/16G Billets From Tony At EPL
Hey Guys,
Well i made the move to Tony at EPL. Turbos and tune show up next week. I'm pretty nervous but it was the right move. What difference will i see from where I'm at now?

Trying to figure out. Were you stock k16's and went to billets? Or were you k16/16g and went to billets? I'm assuming you've gone to billet k16's just curious what you currently have.
Your sig shows
Just curious.
You may want to look at swapping the 5bar for a set of 60lb injectors (50% more flow than the stock 40lb) since you have all the supporting mods to really take advantage of the full potential. If you do some logs and look at the injector DC, you're probably already at the max of the stock injectors even with the 5bar. With anything above stock k16's the injectors would let you take advantage of the billets even more.

I'll be interested to see how much of a difference you notice. I know the billets are much lighter and better flow over the older technology, but I still find it quite impressive that layinback ran in the 5's 60-130 with just k16/16g (not billets). Granted he had a lot more done to the car and was on the motor's threshold. But still impressive they produced those numbers at all.
I'm going to be installing my k16 hybrids soon from Sambott, and am doing injectors at the same time. I saw logs of a fellow member's car with a 5 bar and these turbos and he was running out of fuel at ~5300 b/c they flow so much more than std k16's. That sealed the deal for me on whether to do injectors or not. His acceleration times weren't much more than my own, but at 5k the ecu is pulling everything back b/c the injectors just didn't have anything left. Even with just a tune & exhaust I hit the threshold for the most the injectors can push (this is without a 5bar though).

Thx guys will do and yes the k16 hybrids you will fly on the highway there a beast of a turbo. Not only do you have fast spool ups but barely any lag.
so u upgraded from 16Gs to 16Gs ?

With k16 billets? Care to share any dyno plots, provided by someone other than EPL, to back that up (be nice to see it from someone who isn't selling the product). I haven't seen many K16 billets put down that type of hp on pump at all pretty much. Maybe you're getting crank and whp numbers confused. Most billet k16's max out around 550whp.

I went with my 18gs at that time because I didn't want the low end hit to come on that fast and hard with those..
Since it is my year around driver ,I didn't want traction problems...I rather just down shift..
I love my billet K16's and EPL tune & 72lbs injectors. I'm currently working with Dave@EPL and dialing in my tune for the GT2RS intercoolers and 3" exhaust (coming from stock intercoolers and a catless stock exhaust). My previous setup put down 500awhp on Tony's Mustang dyno. Butt dyno says I picked up ~50whp with the exhaust and intercoolers and we are still fine tuning
I used to have traction issues in 3rd if it was 50 degrees or under. Yesterday it was 65-70 degrees and even with heat in the tires I couldn't floor it with PSM turned on. This thing just rips. You'll love your new setup!
