If car is CPO from Dealer, Do I need Carfax?

MJM is infamous around these parts
If car is CPO from Dealer, Do I need Carfax?

It's my understanding that a dealer cannot CPO if car has been in an accident. If it's CPO, is $25 carfax a waste of money. My wife says only I would ask a $25 question on a $95K car.

Its not a waste of money, CPO cars arent 100% perfect.

I'd say that CPO's aren't perfect and Carfax isn't either, but I'd do both.
