Review of Corbeau seat bases and rails.
Review of Corbeau seat bases and rails.
Pros: Strong, sturdy construction. Attractive textured powdercoated finish. Smooth operating sliders with a secure engaging lock.
Cons: I had to make so many mods and adjustments I felt like I might as well have built them myself. The strangest one was how close together they mounted the rails. I can't think of any combination of parts on the market that would have allowed the parts to bolt up. That required adding nearly two inches to the width of the rail spacing.
Bottom line: Much safer feeling than the sliders that were on the Rottec seats I had before. I am now running some MOMO seats I bought for 32Krazy.

The seats fit me great. For reference I am about 6', 165lbs, 32" waist. I have only done a few miles so far but I have no complaints about the comfort. Better than the Rottec CGT seats.
My only complaint is the fabric used. It is very good at grabbing dog hair and holding on to it with some mystical force. Not a big deal because as long as I still like the seats in a year or so I'll likely reupholster them in a nice leather or something.
I plan to dye the yellow logos black. They looked good in 32Krazy's yellow car but clash in my blue car.
I'll bet this material breathes a lot better in the summer than the leather.
Did you decide on your replacement seats yet?
car is apart for hp build so im still looking. would love a set of recaro cs sporsters but to much $$$. leaning towards a set of corbeau lg1 in leather with lumber bladder added. nice recliners that have a low thigh bolster to aid in entry and exit
