Is it possible to have your engine shipped to a shop in another shop maybe in Germany or US for rebuild? Or is that cost prohibitive?

For me, in fact I wanna rebuild the engine by the way as if I changed the engine and the engine no is different from the license registered... it would be a long story for me to explain the the Govt Dept and the buyer.

there is no VIN# on the motor only part number for the cases

so why you would need to explain anything?

Finally I got an answer from Porsche's ex-car smith (currently working in another brand), he helped me to check and said that the engine is not hurt that serious but Porsche dealer will not repair but just to suggest install the rebuilt one ~ costing USD40000 with labour cost. While there is quite impossible to have an engine specialist in HK can repair it and grant me a warranty for even a mile.

Therefore rebuild it in UK would be better as told.

SVP quoted me a price of about GBP12000... and I think I would betfer to replace an used engine would be cheaper by the way.

As the car is in finance installment, therefore I need to write a letter to the finance agent for explaining at least.
