As I said in my post, the 1.5 seconds was exagerated since a taller tranny will reduce that shifting advantage. Regardless, as you said it is a waste of time. BTW living 10k miles away I don't see why I would want to play down Sharkey, but maybe I am evil and have a hidden agenda

It was good to actually be right for a change. After driving it I sorta speculated that it "felt" fast after 1000... After Bill S. figured out that stuff it seems that I was right about the car really picking up pace after 100mph. My guess is these turbos (yes they lag lol) would be really well suited to a 1mile runI know how to break the ice more.. post some darn pics of that beast of yours!

You mentioned two cars, but you omitted one. I understand EVO recently dyno'ed their latest GT3 based turbo motor and it will be a contender.
Your accomplishment cannot be understated. You are using a tt motor with stock displacement, heads, valves and cam. I believe your motor is a paragon for it's catagory. Given the right ambient temps, zero camber, drag radials and an LSD you will definitely be knocking on the door of the 9's.

I did forget about that one plus a couple of crazy motors they did for the Middle East...I really think that once you and others have worked out all the different kinks with a more involved motor build you will have paved the correct paths for my next motor rebuild
Hopefully I'll knock hard on the door soon. It's hard to just stop...
