I think those are for a 997 GT3 or earlier 2.2, 2.4L l motor. They are too different in too many ways to work on a 996T crank. The crank journal diameter is different for starters.

Yes you could but the rods will not even fit the crank as I mentioned previously.

The big ends on the 130 are smaller by 2mm and wider as are the small ends. It's much easier to buy the right parts rather than try to make free parts work that are wrong.

Longer rods will present their own issues even if a custom piston is made with higher pin. A higher pin often will be located in the oil ring area requiring a floating spacer that also acts as a pin retainer. This can cause issues itself.

I think 993 and 996 turbo rods are the same. Mock 'um up see if they'll fit. Then jump through all the hoops to have some special pistons made. Make certain the weight is within spec and the valve pockets are deep enough. Often times manufacturers like JE, Arias and others will send you a blank and it's up to you to do the final machining. Other times you must build the motor on paper and give the piston mfg a print of all the specs you desire. As you know, longer rods sometimes result in lower cylinder clearancing and other problems.

Are you the builder or going to have it built?
