Help w/ 19" Tires for 996TT
Well, the offset I'm running is aggressive, but I'm not complaining that I had to roll the arch lips. The problem I have is with the physical top of the arch, it rubs across the entire width of the tyre given a heavy enough compression such as the foxhole, and the issue with the tyre being cut was with metalwork mid-arch, not on the outside.
11j et27 offset Cargraphics, I don't feel 11j is optimal for the 305 cup either, since I have a ton of sidewall flex under heavy cornering. 997 gt3 runs 305/30 on a 12j so if I stay 19" I will at least go to a 12j. I feel it needs it, at the moment I have to run pretty high pressures to retain stability with the cups.
As for ride height, I've played around with it a bit, here's a photo of how it was after the nurburgring...

And now after goodwood, lowered in the rear a little for a flat circuit, although cornering so a little distorted....
