01 Turbo HP expectations

I was wondering what kind of HP numbers I would get after adding factory K24 turbos to my 01 Turbo. I currently have GIAC stage 1, Evo V-Flow, Factory GT2 exhaust, and upgraded spark plugs. If I were to add the K24's, would I need to reflash my ECU to a different GIAC program? Thanks for any info.

Also looking to add an exhaust soon, but want something very mild under normal driving, and loud under WOT. Don't want to **** of my neighbors, since I drive my car daily.

Yes, you need a reflash. What is a GT2 exhaust?

I bought an OEM GT2 exhaust from a 6-speed member who had a GT2. The part numbers are different than the stock turbo cars. The GT2 and X50 share the same exhaust...little more deeper sound and somewhat louder(not much though), but have heard of no HP gains from the stock Turbo exhaust.

I'm guessing the sound is different due to the K24 turbos.

My TT have similar setup with yours other than my Ruf exhaust. I've done couple runs with my friend's TTS also with EVO flash. That will be like yours with K24 + new flash. The result is mine has far less turbo lag. We try to start at 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. Everytime mine can jump about 1 car lenght and TTS pass me at about 200km/h. So after you did the K24 upgrade, expect more turbo lag. You TT may run slower than before at low end but sure it kick at highend!

Free flow exhaust and header will minimize turbo lag. hybrid turbo maybe a good choose!
