fbrick is infamous around these parts
Evan,
Back to the glovebox. An occasional squeak from anywhere is probably to be expected and is unavoidable. But constant or continuous, no. My personal opinion is that if it bothers you and it should not be happening, you should get it corrected, especially on a car that costs as much as a Porsche and that is so highly vaunted as to quality. Also, there might be a simple adjustment that can fix the problem. Hey! At what point do you decide whether to complain? Only if it affects driveability? Bottom line, if no one ever complained, nothing would ever get fixed; there would be no quality improvements; long term, quality would deteriorate; and the then what would happen to the marque we all love. "Waddya mean we have quality problems? None of our customers have ever complained!"
Good luck.
Fred

Evan - is the squeeking coming from the dash or the glovebox itself? How have you isolated it? i.e. does putting your hand on it make the vibration go away? I had a variety of highly annoying creaks etc. in my previous C2 but nothing (yet) in the TT. Had a fix like mentioned before where some wedges were put in and stopped the problem in the C2 dash - I know what you're talking about - I lived in Tampa and never had the windows up so didn't hear it until I moved to Indy.
