Thumbs up suspension question

I would like to lower the car just 1" by using h&r lowering springs, do I need to change shocks as well? Or just get coilovers and call it a day

marksred911 is infamous around these parts
I just removed a set of Cross coilovers that adjusted the ride height as firmness. (See other post on tire pressure). These Cross units are combo shocks and springs.

You might want to make sure that by dropping the ride height that you don't mess around too much with the ride quality.

I have H&R and did not install shocks - utilizing OEM units. Ride quality hasn't changed it sits perfectly.

Many people have done just springs. The only downside is that it will wear out the OE shocks quicker. It is always best to match springs and shocks together. I will be going with coilovers instead.

Just go coilovers or a spring and shock combo. Don't skimp on something for just "looks." It could bite you down the road.
