I know you, more than most, can relate to the pound of flesh involved in a project such as this. Thanks for your enduring support!

Oh by the way what are those extra parts gonna cost me?
I do not know. All I can tell you is that that they definitely work. The OEM intake plenum and intercooler end tanks are poorly designed and indisputably restrict air flow, particularly on higher hp cars. The increased air flow from my SG/TD intake plenum, intercooler end tanks and y-pipe has released over three pounds of additional boost that is trapped/restricted by the OEM parts. The manufacturer achieved a 30 hp increase (at one point) from the intake plenum alone (without the intercooler end tanks or y-pipe), and that was on a 500 hp car. Larger hp cars should experience greater gains. Moreover, the intercooler end tanks are far superior to the restrictive OEM tanks and further increase power. For a car such as yours, these parts will make a definite difference.

Call Speed Gallery for pricing.

Sharky and I use many of the same engine components. The following are the power generating differences between Sharky’s car and my car that I am aware of (there are several differences in our cars that do not affect power):

Sharky
??? Exhaust (he alternates between a chamber muffler exhaust and straight pipes)
FVD intake piping
C02/NOS intercooler sprays
Far, far better driver

Craig
Custom exhaust
Gemballa intake piping
SG/TD intake plenum
SG/TD intercooler end tanks
SG/TD y-pipe
Aquamist methanol/water injection system
Aquamist methanol/water intercooler sprays
Grossly inferior driver

The biggest difference in components is my intake plenum and intercooler end tanks which, according to preliminary test results, appear to create significant power. That being said, I am confident that Sharky would take me from a stop because of his far superior launch skills. It might be a different story if we started from a roll.

BTW, it must be noted that my car would not be what it is today but for Sharky’s invaluable assistance. He regularly shared his wisdom and experience with me, even when I was using non-EVO turbos, and when I finally switched turbos, he graciously allowed me to use the custom program created by EVO specifically for his car. Thank you Sharky!!! You are a true gentleman!

Craig seriously man.. it was a real pleasure chatting to you! You've had the tip for a long time just like me and have long been tooting its horn... You've known what I've known for the same period of time- these things can be made to go VERY fast and in most cases faster than a 6speed I'm excited to see the car in the state it's in now. I mean it's ridiculously quick isn't it? **** it's a mid-10 second car on the street and track. What the heck else can compete with that?

And don't you worry about launching.. I'll show you all I know and that way we'll be sure to have NorCal and SoCal covered

The feeling is MUTUAL.. you have NEVER hidden anything and always been so open with all the different things that you've done and happily shared things. So often with other high performance vehicles everything is kept so secret and it's nice to know we're just gearheads all after the same drugs

Craig, how is that home refueling station working out for you? What is race fuel costing you per gallon with the recent increases?

Amen my Ghey Tip Brutha!! "Ridiculous" is an accurate description! Gotta love the consistency from the street to the track, and back. Moreover, I don't miss the 4k clutch replacements every 7k miles.

I will take you up on that offer!!! I would give my left ******** for a 1.6 0-60 (ok, maybe not my ********, but perhaps a few strands of hair).

Amen yet again!!! In car tuning circles, many go to great lengths to guard their proprietary methods/products (perhaps this is a busines necessity in certain circumstances). You and I have consistently exchanged information without any such pretenses. Thank you for that!

Its working great!!! I just paid $5.13 per gallon for my most recent delivery of 104 octane (a few days ago), which is up 80 cents from the price before the skyrocketing prices. I am still paying considerably less than the cost of inferior 100 octane at local stations ($6.50-8.00 per gallon). Moreover, its only about $1.80 more than 91 octane. IMHO, well worth the incremental improvement in performance.

Here kitty, kitty, kitty.

I just have to be careful not to mix it up with Mana's or Shank's TT Viper. Thats a whole different animal.

Craig,

I am glad that you are finally able to experience the BEAST. I know it has been a rough road, but hopefully it will be smooth sailing for a while. -- that is until this kind of power gets old and the thought of 1000 HP crosses your mind Enjoy it and be safe.
