Yup...scam. In fact I was moving with my company looking for apts to get while we looked for a house. I got these type of responses when I sent a few emails. When I told my boss he said that I needed to call the police because the FBI is actually looking for the people in these type of scams.
Nigerian scammer. I got2 of them almost immediately from autotrader. I edited my last line to say "no more Nigerian scammers". I told them bothi hoped the fleas of 1000 camels would spread plague through his pathetic country and exterminate their population..hasnt happened yet tho.

I sometimes think about posting a phony item for sale -- just to draw out these jerks and waste a bunch of their time. Maybe get a small percentage to actually pay a real deposit. They seem to be rolling in dough.

Scam. What I'm told these dirtbags do is have you ship the item
(my experience was with a cell phone on Craigslist) to an address that doesn't match their PayPal Address. Then they proceed to do a charge back. The seller is out the item and money.

Scam, stay away, they tried to scam my friends shop for 10000 bucks. By buying car parts and shipping to them. Everything looked legit they even had fake shipping company, you can even receive money but few days later it will get disputed. Not sure if. They hack!someone's PayPal or what. Just sell it locally

not even cashier's check sir the bank can process the check within 30 days and if the check is bogus they'll take the money right out your account and you're out of a car. Wire transfer is the safest. Nigerian scam?
