We've been rolling the fenders for my wheels to get a little extra safety tolerance but ran into an odd issue. After rolling the drivers side and passenger side identically it is apparent that the drivers side rear wheel is tucked further up into the wheel well than the passenger side rear wheel.

What is weird is that we measured the fender to the ground on both sides and it's identical. What could be causing this? Sagging struts (I'm on H&R springs with original struts)?

 

Id say it's more likely the camber or toe is out on the wheels than the springs are sagging. If the alignment is out even a few degrees it will make one wheel closer to the fender than the other. Guess there is a change the spring are sagging, but H&R are pretty good quality and i'd be surprised to find out they really are sagging. I think people have claimed this previously but it's sort of grey if it was really true or not.

Reason I say this is I have been there done that. 350z one wheel rubbed other didnt, was high in the wheel well looking too. Here was the computer diagram of my alignment. Wow.

 

I think you're onto something. I'm having them do a GT2 alignment tomorrow and will report back if it fixes the issue.
