She is back on the road and most fun ever!
She is back on the road and most fun ever!
After about 27 hours of fun tinkering with my new to me 996T, she is off the lift and back in action.
I must admit that all the things I did were easy and inexpensive (to me), but if I did not have my own lift and small hands, I bet few grand would have disappeared from my kid's college fund.
Man is she tons of fun, or what!
P.S. still work in progress, waiting on few exterior and other parts...

- replaced iForged ghetto wheels with Turbo Twist
- increased road clearance on those (Soon to be replaced with stock) coil overs
- restored proper plumbing on left side turbo and all around, all kinds of boost was lost, 1 sensor and 1 diverter were disconnected, those hillbilly mechanics I tell you..
- all Amsoil 75W90 severe duty gear oil + Liqui molly 5W40
- repaired some undercarriage weather shielding, still working on side skirts
- performed shifting upgrade with 8mm ball tweak.
- replaced climate control lcd
- injected rust proofing amber fluid into rocker panels and rear quarters
- removed 60lb custom boom box from the rear
- repaired rear spoiler level micro switch
- repaired left rocker damage from incorrect lifting, that seam was tough to pull and straighten.
I am sure I missed few things, still a lot to do.
