What is this?

Have my bumper off to get some mesh grills installed and this is just hanging there. Probably some sort of temperature sensor? Is there supposed to be a bracket? If there is supposed to be a bracket, does anyone have a part number?

Outside air temperature sensor. There should be a bracket for it, integral part of the bumper.

There should be a round hole/tube on your bumper (or air channel to RH radiator) where you just push the sensor in. Not available separately...

That's funny! Seen in your sig-do you have a B&M shifter in your car? If so was it an easy install and do you like it? I just bought my car yesterday and had a Z06 I installed a B&M ripper shifter and it was such an improvement with the shorter throws plus an easy install.
